BusinessAccount.uk is an independent site for UK businesses. It compares business bank accounts, explains the platform accounts (Amazon, Google, eBay), and maps the filing deadlines and software for the accounts you keep.
It is published by S5 Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (number 16842049). Every page is written and checked by S5 editorial, and every page carries the date its figures were last read, most recently 7 August 2026.
How the figures are checked
Comparison sites go stale quietly, which is the main way they mislead. The method here is deliberately dull, and it is the reason to trust the numbers rather than any claim of expertise.
- Every fee, rate and limit is read from the provider's own published page, or from a primary source such as gov.uk, Companies House or the FSCS. Nothing is taken from another comparison site.
- Each figure is stored with the date it was read and the page it came from, so a number can always be traced back to a source and a moment.
- When a provider stops publishing something, we say so rather than carry the old number forward. Two credit card representative APRs were removed on 7 August 2026 for exactly this reason.
- Where a figure could not be re-read, the page says it is a last-published figure instead of presenting it as current.
